OUR WORK

Our clean and reliable drinking water is something many New Yorkers take for granted. The aging sewage systems contribute to pollution in beaches, bays, and rivers.

“Focusing MTS on improving drinking water and upgrading aging sewer systems projects in New York allows us to meaningfully impact our community.”

Damages from hurricanes such as Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and more recently Hurricane Ida in 2021 have eroded our coast and inundated our drainage and infrastructure. MTS has been called to implement strategies to deal with the vulnerability of coastlines. We have provided emergency assistance to deal with collapsed culvert structures posing risks to our communities.
