We believe that employees are the most important asset of MTS. Providing a safe working environment for our employees and those in the surrounding community is our greatest responsibility.
We believe safety goes hand in hand with the quality of the build. Our dedication to maintaining the highest health and safety standards includes consistent implementation of the following standards:

Leading by example with a President that carries OSHA 30, New York 811, and Metro-North Contractors Safety Training Cards.

All on-site employees including supervisors and project manager carry OSHA 30-hour Safety Training Cards

All on-site employees have successfully completed Excavator Training and Education Program “New York 811”

All on-site employees have “Metro-North Railroad- Contractor Safety Training

All new employees are trained on MTS Health & Safety Plan prior to starting work. We utilize the “New Employee Safety Orientation Checklist” as a reminder of the items that must be reviewed with the employee. The checklist must be signed by the employee and the management representative after orientation is completed
